Like other artists @hood.winkler spoke about how the demands of a platform, and the forms of engagement encouraged by a specific style of meme-adjacent satire, at one point began to raise conflicting feelings in the creation process. Overcoming this paradox, for all artists, of working one’s way into a certain mode of communication only to feel trapped there, seems to be an area rich with meaning for exploration and such a crucial part of developing one’s talent.
