In this chapter we travel across South America to an old organ for a deeper encounter with its unique sound, and cross an ocean to new horizons and characters.

Requiem: Middle English requiem "a mass for the dead," from Latin requiem "rest," the first word of the phrase Requiem aeternum dona eis "Eternal rest grant to them," said or sung at the beginning of the mass.
